PlanPoint Web is Supported anywhere in the world on all devices* via your OKTA homepage.
*UI is not great on Phones, but is workable.
Open Planpoint Web View from your OKTA homepage - on any Device, Anywhere
To open Planpoint Web View, you will need to log into your OKTA homepage… there is a dedicated tile.
Which Titles & information you see will be restricted based on your OKTA group (Commercial, TNL or NGN Editorial, Finance or Marketing).
Open PlanPoint Web View: Click the blue Planpoint tile on your OKTA homepage.
Don’t have the tile?: Contact Service Desk on x26969 / 0207 782 6969 or by logging a ticket in My IT.

Open plans by Title and Edition date
By design this is very simple, and quick:
1st Select Title: Click into the ‘Publication’ searchbar at the top > Type or Select the title you wish to view.
2nd Select Edition Date: You can then Click into the ‘Date’ field at the top > Select an available date*… navigate with the < > arrows.
Clear selected plan: Click the X in the ‘Publication’ searchbar to clean the page.
*Plans dates that have not yet been built will be greyed out…. contact AdOps to have them built for you.
Filtering Plans By Zones (regions) & Section
You can use the Zone & Sections options on the left to show, hide or even compare the different Sections and Regions (“Zones”) that are in the selected Edition.
Filter Zones: Tick on/off the ‘Zones’ on the left to include them on the plan.
*By default National (NAT) will be selected.Filter Sections: Tick on/off the ‘Sections’ on the left to include them in each Zone.
*By default this is in Alpha OrderToggle/Compare Zones: Tick on the 2 Zones to compare > Tick off/on the Zone that is highest in the list to quick compare with the Zone below it (Zones and Sections are stacked top to bottom).
See Pagination Breakdown: The Pagination of each Section and Total Book Pagination is shown at the top next to the Zone name and is driven by which Sections you have ticked on.
Ad Shapes
Ads are shown on plan as coloured blocks - Red = Copy Outstanding / Green = Copy Matched.
Ads can be easily identified as they contatin the Customer Name (“Cabinet Office”) and Placement (“Front Half”). Clicking on these shapes will bring up more detail such as Placement Instructions which gives more insight into the sold conditions of the ads.

Compare Ad Details: Click on multiple ads to bring up details of each > they will remain for several seconds to allow you to compare > click again to unshow.
Tracking / Previewing copy
You can turn on/off the previewing of ad content to show if creative is in…
Preview Copy On Plan: Click ‘Show Preview’ eye icon top right to tun preview on/off
Labels
Labels are used to signify important information such as a guarantee, request to run near edit or what to avoid, or if there is a regional split on the ad.
These are solid and brightly coloured on the plan.
View Labels: Please take note of ALL labels on plan, they have been put on specifically to highlight something important.
Editorial Placeholders/Shapes
Editorial placeholders are shown on plan, these can be used to note certain features or pages of interest.
These are identified as green on the plan, and when clicked will show as ‘Type: Editorial’.
View Editorial Placeholders: Click the editoral shape to bring up the details, click agan to hide.
Refreshing the plan & Setting Auto Refresh
There is no save button on IX Planpoint, instead - all moves are live… As soon as we have actioned a move, it will be reflected on the plan after a refresh. You can set the plan to auto refresh every 1, 2 or 5 minutes.
Refresh: Click the Blue Refresh icon top right.
Set Auto Refresh: Click dropdown arrow to the right of the Refresh Button > Select Auto Refresh interval.
Ad/Ed Ratios & Revenue

View Ad Revenue on plan
Ad revenue will be displayed (for commercial users only) underneath the page - this will be a total of all ads on that page. DPS revenue is counted on both pages of the DPS (full amount on each page), it is recorded once in the dashboard.

Calculate Ad/Ed Ratios
You can calculate the Ad/Ed Ratio of a page range for each section in the ‘Dashboard’ option on the left, this also includes a summary of the Placed and unplaced Revenue in the edition.
Calulate Ad/Ed Ratio: With plan open, click ‘Dashboard’ on the left > Set Zone, Section, Page Range > % of ‘Ad Coverage’ (ad vs edit) will be displayed below. There is a tickbox breakdown for display-classified-options.
See Placed & Unplaced revenue: Scroll down to ‘Revenue’ to see all placed and unplaced revenue for that edition across it’s component sections.
