Cancellation Policy

This sets out the details of our 6-week cancellation policy…

1. Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

   1. subject to paragraph (c) below, if the Advertiser cancels any of the Advertising Services (whether booked through the self-service portal at https://www.newsukadvertising.co.uk/ or otherwise) any time before the date that is 6 weeks before the advertisement is due to be published (“Production Deadline”), it will receive a full refund in respect of the Advertising Services in question;

    

   1. subject to paragraph (c) below, if the Advertiser cancels any of the Advertising Services (whether booked through the self-service portal at https://www.newsukadvertising.co.uk/ or otherwise) on or after the date that is 6 weeks before the Production Deadline, it will be charged in full for the Advertising Services in question. For the avoidance of doubt, any Advertising Services that have a Production Deadline of less than 6 weeks from the date of the booking will be charged for in full even if cancelled by the Advertiser; and

    

   1. if News UK supplies a bespoke creative service or solution as part of the Advertising Services, such Advertising Services are non-refundable at any time from the date that News UK incurs costs in respect of such Advertising Services and the Advertiser will be charged in full for the Advertising Services in question (including any costs that have already been incurred by News UK at any time in respect of such Advertising Services). 

    

2. For Advertising Services booked through the self-service portal, cancellations are only accepted through the My Account section of the self-service portal.

3. News UK will not be bound by a cancellation request unless it is in writing and News UK has confirmed receipt.
